National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

The National Indian Women’s Health Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist American Indian and Alaska Native women in achieving and maintaining optimal health and cultural well-being for themselves, their families, and their communities. http://www.niwhrc.org/ [posted on National Minority AIDS Council Lifeline] [deadline] March 21, 2007 marks the first annual National Native (American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian) HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This day is an opportunity to increase awareness of the impact of HIV/AIDS on American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians.
