I posted this on the other site but it is good news (and bad news) from Alaska to be highlighted on the health front –
Only girls are mentioned as recipients even though boys are also eligible for the vaccine program. It is very important that both boys and girls get the vaccine. STDs are not a “girl problem”; women are not contagions; men are not “strong unless weakened by women”. It should be long-gone when locking up the women protected the men (in loco parentis). Men and boys suffer maiming and illness from this virus. Aren’t they also worthy of protection?
